At Zepl we are looking for a self-motivated Pre-Sales Engineer, responsible for providing the technical expertise and communication skills to translate product design to product solution.

You will have a broad range of skills and experience ranging from cloud computing environments to Python, data science notebooks and more. You will have the insight to make the connection between a customer’s specific business problems and Zepl's solution, the customer-facing skills to communicate that connection and vision to a wide variety of technical and executive audiences via Power Point, white board and/or video conferencing.

It means keeping up to date on the ever-evolving technologies for systems architecture, machine learning, and ML-Ops in order to be an authoritative resource for both Zepl and customers. It means working collaboratively with a broad range of people both inside and outside the company. Pre-Sales Engineers at Zepl engage with the data science and data analyst community to train, evangelize and suggest ways they can be more efficient with Zepl.


  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and whiteboarding skills
  • Comfortable with traveling to multiple customer locations
  • 3-5 years in customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture or consulting roles
  • Experience with database environments & data science notebooks
  • Comfortable writing code in either Python, Scala, R
  • Experience working with open source and/or AWS/cloud
  • BS in Computer Science or a related field
